About Katra Mosque
Built by Nawab Murshid Quli Khan in 1724, Katra Mosque is a historically significant mosque and tomb. Though partially ruined, its grand structure with two massive corner towers and rows of double-storied domed cells for scholars showcases impressive Islamic architecture. The Nawab himself is buried under the entrance steps, a gesture of his humility.
