About Jaldapara National Park
Situated in the Dooars region at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas, Jaldapara National Park is a vast expanse of grassland and riverine forests. It is most famous for its large population of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros, holding the second-largest rhino population in India after Kaziranga.
Thrilling jeep and elephant safaris offer opportunities to spot not just rhinos, but also elephants, bison (gaur), hog deer, and leopards. The park's rich avian diversity makes it a paradise for bird watchers. A visit here is a true immersion into the wild heart of North Bengal.
